March Cornerstone: Positivity
Recognize Someone Who Shows Positivity
I think the most important characteristic of positivity is that we remain optimistic and hopeful, even as we are enduring challenges and trials.
If you know of someone who has exemplified positivity in the face of difficult and challenging circumstances, will you please tell us about them?
It is time for our annual parent engagement surveys. The information that you share in these surveys is incredibly important in helping guide the decisions that we make. We want and need you to be honest and candid in sharing your experiences with us.

D93 Board News
Attendance Policy Update
The Board also approved the recommendation to suspend the provisions for makeup time (Section 5b) of our attendance policy for the 2023-2024 school year. This recommendation came after multiple lengthy conversations with principals about the challenges of requiring students to make time up. All other corrective actions including verification of compliance for Driver's Education, recommendation to suspend driver's licenses, conferences with principals are in place.
Attendance matters to the success of students both inside and outside of school. Our local business reported that regular and predictable attendance is the most important quality they look for when hiring young employees.
Please help us to provide the best education for your children by ensuring they attend school unless there are extenuating circumstances that make it impossible for them to not attend.
Our next board meeting is a Work Meeting on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 11:30 p.m. at the PLC building located at 3442 E Iona Rd, Idaho Falls, Idaho 83401. This meeting is a work meeting, no public input will be permitted.
