At this point, Cabot Public Schools will remain closed for on-site instruction through April 17th due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The point of contact for your student is their Advisory Teacher. Students are encouraged to check their student emails and Google Classroom frequently for updates from their teachers. Zoom meetings may also be scheduled so teachers and students can have face to face communication.

We understand not every child has access to Wi-Fi or a device. Our Technology Department has worked on a plan to support our families and their at-home learning experience. If you are a family that does not have access to an internet-ready device (laptop, tablet, iPad, iPhone, etc.) the district will be issuing Chromebooks to actively enrolled students in need of equipment.

• A drive-through Chromebook Distribution Center will be set up at Cabot Junior High North located at 38 Spirit Drive.
• Beginning Monday, April 6th from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., WiFi spots will be available in the parking lots of Magness Creek Elementary, Ward Central Elementary, Southside Elementary, CHAMPS HALL and the courtyard at Cabot High School.
  
• The Cabot Public Library also has free WiFi in its parking lot. It is available 24/7.

Cabot Public Schools is offering a free drive-through meal program from March 30 – April 17. The Cabot Kids’ Café will be available Monday through Friday, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at five different school locations.

• Central Elementary
• Magness Creek Elementary
• Ward Central Elementary
• Cabot Middle School South
• Cabot Junior High North

A to-go lunch as well as breakfast for the next day will be provided. Students can pick up a meal at any of these drive-through locations. They do not have to attend school at that location. Cabot Kids’ Café is for students enrolled at Cabot Public Schools. Per USDA requirements, students must be present in order to receive the meal. Unfortunately, we are only allowed to serve student meals at this time. For health and safety reasons, we are asking patrons to remain in their cars as our staff members distribute the meals.

We miss seeing our students and their families each and every day! We miss being able to "shout out" all the amazing things our students are doing. With that being said, we want selfies of you and your families during these unprecedented times. We want to see you reading a book, riding your bike, creating sidewalk chalk, playing a board game, or whatever you are doing since we are not at CMSS. Box Tops for Education is still going strong and each box top counts as cash for CMSS! Since 1996, General Mills has donated over $913 million to schools just like CMSS.

You can continue to send in your Box Tops with your student OR you can download the Box Top App and choose CMSS at your school. Then, simply scan your grocery receipt and CMSS will be credited for each eligible item you purchased.

At the Cabot School District, “It’s about KIDS,” and your student could be part of the long history of academic excellence even if you don’t live in the district. CPS is currently accepting School Choice applications for the 2020-20201 school year. Applications should be turned into the Central Administrative Offices, located at 602 N.
