Tropical This Friday

2nd football game is on August 30th. Click the picture to go to gofan to purchase tickets. Or you can purchase your ASB discount to get in for free. Please note you must have your school ID to enter at the gate.

Welcome Back Events 8/30

Friday, Aug 30th we have pineapple pass in the quad at lunch. At the game, we have the Tropical Shirt Blue Zoo Section at 7:00pm. We end the night with our Welcome Back Dance after the game for $5 entry or free for ASB discount card holders. The dance will end at 10:30PM.

Parking Permits 2024-2025 School Year

Parking permits for 24/25 school year will be available to sign up as follows: Seniors with license on Aug. 26-28, 2024. Juniors with license on Aug. 29-30, 2024. Sophomores with license on Sept. 9/3-9/5 , 2024. Students with permits only on Sept. 6, 2024. Students who sign up prior to their assigned day will be moved to the bottom of the list. The form and instructions for permit sign ups will be sent to your student email prior to the dates above.

Sophomore Parking Permits Info

Sophomore student’ planning on reserving a parking permit need to have administrative approval prior to purchasing the permit. Parking is a privilege

Criteria that will be considered through the approval process for Sophomore’s:

Parking availability
Grade Point Average (GPA), 3.0 or higher
Attendance
Discipline
Parking permits are to be paid in full at the time of reservation and are non refundable

Lunch Time Activity Friday

Pineapple Pass Friday at Lunch. Winners of the game get shaved ice. Hope to see you there.

Work Permits

Attention all students that plan on working this year. Please submit a completed work permit request form to Mr. Coville ASAP, or email him at trevor.coville@lmusd.org. Anybody that needs their current permit extended can stop by Room 510, or email Mr. Coville as well.

FFA Chapter Meeting

FFA is Hosting the first meeting of the year on Wednesday at lunch on the Ag lawn. Come enjoy a Root Beer Float while supplies last so come early and support FFA.

Hangout Club is Back!

Attention Eagles,The Hangout Club is back this year! We're all about games, events, and spreading good vibes, plus we're gearing up for Unified Basketball this Fall and Special Olympics in May! Want in on the fun? Fly over to Mr. Reid’s room 983 this Tuesday at lunch. Don't miss out—come Hangout with us!

Clubs should know in order to advertise for your club's special events, please turn your announcement into room #205 for posting. Going forward, flyers will be hung in Eagle Hall, on the tri marquee and blue board in the quad, on the Softball Shed wall, outside room #912, and in the admin building window. All other posters will be removed.

~Attendance~

Make Sure to Clear your Absences

Clear Absences by 4pm Tuesday, 9/10/24. Please make sure that the Attendance Office is informed of the reason for any still unverified absences for 8/15/24 - 09/06/24. After that date, we will not be able to make any changes.

College & Military Visits

Seniors and Juniors planning a college/military visit should stop by the Attendance Office to pick up an Excused Absence Request form ahead of their visit. If approved, up to two days may be excused. Visits that will last longer than two days would require a Short Term Independent Study Contract to excuse the absence.
