~Attendance~
Make Sure to Clear your Absences
Clear Absences by 4pm Tuesday, 01/14/25. Please make sure that the Attendance Office is informed of the reason for any still unverified absences for 12/02/24 - 12/20/24. After that date, we will not be able to make any changes.
College & Military Visits
Seniors and Juniors planning a college/military visit should stop by the Attendance Office to pick up an Excused Absence Request form ahead of their visit. If approved, up to two days may be excused. ~Counselor's Corner~
The end of the semester is upon us! It is important for students to focus on passing all of their classes and getting the help they need if they are struggling in any class. Remember that counselors are here to meet with students and help create plans for missing assignments or low grades. We only have three weeks until the semester is over and grades are final. Please email gisselle.ramos@lmusd.org or nancy.gonzalez@lmusd.org for an appointment with your counselor.
Attention Seniors and Senior Parents! The local scholarship application is now open! Please click HERE to complete the application. AGHS receives over $300,000 dollars in scholarships from local organizations and this is the form that will give seniors access to that money. Please see your counselor if you have any questions.
Cuesta Classes on Campus! Attention all students interested in taking a Cuesta college class on our campus in the evening! Cuesta will be offering two courses for the spring semester. Students can take ETHN 260 (Intro to Chicanx and Latinx Studies) or MATH 230 (Math for Humanities). Both of these courses fulfill a GE requirement for college. They are scheduled on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:00PM - 6:20PM for the spring semester, which begins on January 21st and end on May 23rd. Please see your counselor if you are interested in taking either of these courses!
Work Permits
Attention all students that plan on working this year. Please submit a completed work permit request form to Mr. Coville ASAP, or email him at trevor.coville@lmusd.org. Anybody that needs their current permit extended can stop by Room 510, or email Mr. Coville as well.
