Attention Juniors!

ASB Student Government is holding its annual elections for new ASB Officers for 2023-24 school year. Any Interested Junior should attend our candidate interest Meeting tomorrow, November 22nd!

Who: ASB President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Public Relations Officer

When: Interest Meeting tomorrow, November 22 during Panther Period

Where: Student Center

Why: Current Officer term ends at end of 1st semester. New officers will take over in February 2023 (2nd Semester).

FBLA will hold its 4th annual Hygiene Drive or the Snohomish Food Bank November 21 – December 8. Items needed are: Socks, Hats, Gloves, Scarves, Toothpaste, Toothbrushes, Bar Soap, Shampoo, Deodorant. Monetary donations are also welcome, donations can be made through the bookkeeping office. A $3 donation will count as 1 item. This will be a 3rd period classroom competition, where the winning class earns a prize. We will try to announce weekly tallies. Get those donations ready to help your neighbors in need!

Tickets are on sale now for the Theatre Club's Fall Production of Twelfth Night!

Twelfth Night is a romantic comedy by William Shakespeare, believed to have been written around 1601-1602 as a Twelfth Night's entertainment for the close of the winter holiday season. The play centers on the twins Viola & Sebastian, who are separated in a shipwreck. Viola (who is disguised as Cesario) falls in love with the Duke Orsino, who in turn is in love with Countess Olivia. Upon meeting Viola, Countess Olivia falls in love with her thinking she is a man.

• Tickets currently on sale and can be purchased online at www.showtix4u.com/events/shstheatre. Please select performance date/time at the time of purchase.

• Tickets cost $10/each for students/children/veterans/seniors (over 65) and $13/each for adults.

• Performance dates and times – December 2, 3, 9 and 10 at 7 p.m. December 3 and 10 at 1 p.m.

• Performance location - Snohomish High School (1316 Fifth Street in Snohomish)

Tickets may be purchased online up until the performance begins. Just show us the e-ticket on your phone for quick entry. Tickets may also be purchased in person at the door with cash or checks. We are not able to accept credit card payment at the door.

The Winter Sports Parent/Guardian Meeting is tomorrow, November 22 at 6:30 p.m. in the SHS main gym.

Mark Perry, our athletic director will do a short general meeting.

Coaches will then break off to have individual sports meetings. Hope to see you there!

Book Club will meet in the library during Panther Period today, November 21. We will meet the public librarian as well as discuss the Sora book and introduce book ideas for December and January! All are welcome!

Attention Key Clubbers: Our next club meeting will be held after school today, November 21, in room E232. We will be planning a winter service project and we look forward to seeing you all there!

There will be an Environmental meeting today, November 21 in the Athletic Office during Panther Period.

College visits are held during Panther Period or afterschool (2:20 p.m.) in the College & Career Center. During the college visits, the admissions representative will be there to provide information and answer questions. All students are welcome to attend! Visits coming up:

Seniors, the best place to start when you are looking for money for college, tech school or trade school, is by filling out the online Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA, for undocumented and select non-citizens). The information from these applications will be shared with the colleges you apply to and will determine your eligibility for financial aid.

A reminder to students & families, outside deliveries will not be accepted for students, this includes food deliveries from local establishments, Uber Eats, Door Dash, etc. Parents, you may drop off lunches or forgotten items in the main office and students may pick them up during lunch or between classes.
