Eta Rho Newsletter
April 2022
President's Message
On behalf of the Board of Directors and members of the Eta Rho Chapter, I welcome the Spring 2022 inductees to our chapter! We are so pleased that you have chosen to accept our invitation. We are eager to get to know you, support you in your professional endeavors, and work with you toward our mission of recognizing nursing scholarship, leadership, and service.
There is a wealth of resources available to new members, and I encourage you to explore all that Sigma offers. The “New Member Benefits and Resources” webpage at https://www.sigmanursing.org/why-sigma/sigma-membership/sigma-new-member-benefits-and-resources is a great place to start. You may also visit our chapter website in The Circle at http://etarho.nursingsociety.org.
Member engagement and retention are critical goals for our chapter. Eta Rho would not exist without your support! Please continue to support our chapter by renewing your membership and becoming involved. Are you interested in learning more about the Board of Directors and how you might begin your journey as a chapter leader? We would love to have you join us! Please reach out, and we will help you explore ways to become involved. There is something for everyone, and Eta Rho can only meet its goals if we all work together!
As the chapter leadership is here to serve you, we would love to hear more about what you want from your membership. Is there anything you would like to know more about? Are there any continuing education topics you would love to see? Would you like more networking opportunities? Please share your thoughts by emailing me at lfiresti@emich.edu.
Thank you to all of our members – we appreciate you and are eager to work with you. If you have any questions regarding Sigma, our chapter, or how to get the most out of your membership, let’s talk! You can reach me at 734-743-1172 or lfiresti@emich.edu.
