Principal's Message
Hello Pico Canyon Families,
We made it to the last day! 180 days of learning, fun, and incredible memories made. Thank you for sharing your beautiful children with us and all of your support. Have a wonderful and restful summer. We will see our returning Huskies back on August 15th.
As always, thank you for your ongoing support of Pico Canyon!
Sincerely,
Michele Krantz, Principal
End-of-Year Capturing Kids' Hearts Survey
At the start of this year, many of our teachers completed Capturing Kids Hearts (CKH) training. During this training, staff learned strategies to build and maintain relationships with and among students. Most implemented a social contract as a foundational tool for this work. You also may have heard your child come home talking about "Good Things" shared by them or their classmates at the start of class. These types of activities were instrumental in building a sense of community and belonging in the classroom. We have additional staff members including our safety supervisors and office staff attending this summer.
Please take a few minutes to fill out the family survey below. I realize many of you already did the district's effectiveness survey. This is a little different and will be used in conjunction with the effectiveness survey to allow us to reflect on our practices and continue to improve.
We appreciate you taking the time to complete the survey.
Supply Lists for 2024-25
Below please find the suggested items for your child's next grade level. Please note that the supply list is not required, but considered a donation. All children will have access to the supplies they need.
Report Cards
Report Cards were sent home today through Parent Square. Please contact our office if you need assistance.
Lost and Found Items
We will hold on to the eyeglasses for an extra week. Please call the office at 661-291-4080 if any of these belong to your child.
