Good afternoon LISD staff,

As COVID-19 continues to be at the forefront for all of us, we are committed to:

working with our public health departments to determine if cases require us to adjust and
supporting principals to send all available staff to schools to help cover classrooms.

We will continue to do our best to listen, monitor, and respond. We are grateful and amazed by our #1LISD team.

Leander ISD celebrated its employees who retired during the midyear break. Though we could not celebrate together, retirees received catered meals delivered personally from a fellow coworker. Some of our Board of Trustees offered a special message of gratitude and praise. Thank you to our retirees for your commitment to service.

Bad Weather Make-Up Day

April 12 will be a regular school day to make up for the snow day on Jan. 11. Students need the minutes and staff contracts require employees to make up the time; therefore, we will use the bad weather makeup day allocated in our calendar. For our secondary students, this will be an A day.
