Colton School District registration for the 23-24 school year is now open. Please visit www.colton.k12.or.us to register online through our website. If you need assistance, please call the office at (503)824-3536. This registration needs to be completed each year. Please register as soon as possible, to help us have a smooth start in the fall.

Hard to believe the end of the school year is fast approaching. To kick off summer, we will be having an End of the Year BBQ June 8th from 6-8PM.

Our 4th and 5th graders have been working on testing their own hypothesis for their Science Fair Project. The results are in and they ARE impressive! They will be on display at the June 8th BBQ!

PICTURES HERE!!! Student Council is helping tidy up our Lost and Found. All items were spread out on tables May 18th and 22nd, and every class went through and looked. These jackets, coats and sweatshirts are now back at the front of the school. We took pictures, PLEASE LOOK HERE! If your child is missing a jacket or a sweatshirt, please email Mrs. Wagner by June 2nd, with a description and we can send it home with your child. Student medications need to be transported by an adult to and from school. If you have any student medications at the school office, please make arrangements to pick them up by June 22. Any medications that are not picked up by June 29 will be properly disposed of. If you are unsure if your child has any remaining medication at the office, please call (503)824-3536. Thank you!

Congratulations to Youth Sports Lady Viks 3rd & 4th grade soccer team on a 3rd place win at the state wide League America Festivals United Cup! Great job Shyann, Ryhan, Ally, Leah, Gwen, Brooklynn, Cooper, Grace, Emberlie and Heidi!

This Thursday Night, 6pm! (June 8th)

5th grade families~ this one’s for you!!! To celebrate your student moving UP to middle school, we will be creating a wall just to honor them!

Every 5th grade student was sent home with a balloon for you to color, decorate, and adorn how you wish to be put on display for the school to enjoy! If you are in need of a new balloon please reach out! As these come in we will be hanging them up, and they will be on display for the remainder of the year! We can’t wait to see what you come up with!

Thank you for your support at the Book Fair. The money we fundraised has helped buy about 150 new books. Some just arrived this week!

Friendly Reminder: All medication (over-the-counter and prescribed) needs to be transported to school by a parent, and medication authorization forms must be filled out before office staff can administer medication. The medication both prescribed and over the counter should be in the original packaging, and can only be given as directed by the prescribing physician or medication label.
