Interested in recreation and community service? Apply for the BVRC.
Blue Valley Schools patrons interested in recreation and community service are invited to apply for the Blue Valley Recreation Commission’s (BVRC) open northeast and south positions and must reside within those districts. Previous recreation commission experience is optional. The appointees will serve four-year terms, beginning August 1, 2024.
The school district’s involvement with the commission is limited by statute, holding it responsible for the BVRC by appointing its commissioners, approving the budget and authorizing lease agreements.
Those interested can apply through the online form. For more information, visit bluevalleyrec.org/commish or bluevalleyk12.org/BVRC.
