November 17: No School (Staff Work Day)

November 20-24: Thanksgiving Break

December 14: 4th Grade Musical (more info coming soon)

ELAR- We will analyze plot elements, including the rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution (4.8C)

Math- We will compose and decompose fractions with unit fractions of the same denominator/numerator (4.3A-B)

Science- We will examine properties of soil, including odor and texture, capacity to retain water, and ability to support growth of plants (4.7A)

Social Studies- We will identify the accomplishments and explain the impact of significant explorers, including Cabeza deVaca ;Francisco Coronado; and René Robert Cavelier, Sieurdela Salle, on the settlement of Texas (4.2B)

Our 4th grade field trip will be in May. We are starting to organize our trip to the Perot Museum. If you have a School Cash account set up, you should receive an email about the field trip. The field trip will cost $8 per student, payable in School Cash. We will send home more information in the Spring.
