Read Across America week is the nations largest celebration of reading. For our participation, we are striving to motivate children to read at least 100 minutes at home that week. Students will receive their Read Across America reading logs to take home on Friday, February 28th. Students and families will write down the times that they read each evening and have an adult sign it. If students reach 100 minutes that week and return their log on March 7th, they will receive a fidget or squish ball as their prize. We hope that reading twenty minutes a day might become a regular habit for your family. Your student may have enormous academic gains as a result.
Our spring Scholastic Book Fair will be in library special area from March 17th- 26th. The most convenient way for younger students to shop is by setting up an e-wallet so that they don't have to carry cash. You can add money to their e-wallet account by HERE. If you are sending cash, please try to send it on their library days. See the table below for your students days to shop.
