Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Monday, November 18th and Wednesday, November 20th. Conferences are approximately 20 minutes each. Virtual conferences during these times are available upon parent request.
Parent Teacher conferences are a great opportunity to meet with your child's teacher to discuss his/her progress.
During the conference:
- Teacher will share strengths and areas of growth of your child
- Offer your perspective
- Don't be afraid to ask questions (if there is an educational term used that you do not know what it means, feel free to ask)
- Feel free to share additional information about your child (e.g. learning styles, interests outside of school)
In addition, if you would like to schedule a conference with one of our specialists, feel free to do so. Conferences for specialists are available on a first come- first serve basis. To schedule, please click on the links below:

Throughout the months of November, we typically focus on being grateful. There are so many ways to teach valuable lessons about this to your child(ren)
Three great ideas come from TheBigLifeJournal.com:
1) “Share a gratitude journal for 30 days,
List out a few things we are grateful for each day can have a positive impact on our mood, attitude, and relationships. Each day, list three to five things you are grateful for. Share with each other or just ask your child once in a while, “How do you feel after you’ve written what you are grateful for?”
2) Notice and savor the small stuff.
We can help our children become noticers of the good by... pausing to notice and “take in” the beauty of a sunset, appreciating a stranger holding the door open for you and your child stopping to admire a vibrant tree in the park listening to birds sing early in the morning
3) Write a gratitude letter.
Take some time to sit down with your child and write a gratitude letter to a family member or anyone else. Don’t go for perfection – go for authenticity. You and your child might not only make someone’s day, but make their life.”
How many other ways can you think of to show gratitude? Keep up your great parenting work
and remember to Always be Positive and SMILE!!
