What is Happening at OAC
Count Day - October 2, 2024
We would like to remind you that Wednesday, October 2nd is a crucial day for our school – it is Count Day. On this day, attendance plays a vital role in determining the funding our school receives.
It is extremely important that all students are present and accounted for.
We kindly ask for your cooperation in ensuring that your child is at school on time and attends the entire day. If your child is unable to attend due to illness or other valid reasons, please contact the school office as soon as possible.
Thank you for your continued support in making sure our school has the resources needed to provide the best education for your children.
School Picture Day is Coming
School Picture Days will be October 8 & 9, your teacher will be notifying you what day they are scheduled for pictures. Retakes will be October 30.
Volunteering at OAC
Any person who volunteers at OAC must complete the volunteer form and have a background check done before volunteering in a classroom, attend any school outing or classroom field trip. This process does take several weeks to complete the background check process, so please plan accordingly to get your volunteers forms turned into the office or your classroom teacher. well before the date you would like to attend a field trip or volunteer in the classroom. The forms must be completed each school year. Please contact the office if you would like volunteer forms sent home in backpacks.
