It's MAY at BMS!

Free physicals will be available on Thursday, May 9th for students in 5th -11th grades who plan on participating in sports and/or BAND for the 2024-2025. These are provided by Mercy Hospital and Tammy Fowler, FNP.

Physical forms and the sign-up sheets are available in building offices. The forms must be signed by parents or guardians before May 9th.

Physicals are valid for two years. Please email Coach Smith at csmith@bps14.org with any questions.

Participants MUST have current physical on file to participate!

We will be at the park all day for BMS Field Day.

PTO will be grilling hamburgers or you may bring your lunch.

*Parents are NOT to bring food/items to the park.

You may bring your own personal water bottle.

*Please make sure your name is on it or you keep it with you.

Wear / Bring SUNSCREEN

You may bring a small blanket / towel to sit on.

Sports Equipment Allowed: Kickball, basketball, volleyball, tennis racket & ball, wiffle ball & bat, gloves, rubber ball, frisbee, pickle ball equipment

Dress comfy and make sure to follow the School's Dress Code Policy. You may want to bring an extra change of clothes/shoes in your backpack just in case.

Students may bring money $$ for the Kona snow cone truck.

Calling all girls entering 3rd-8th grade this coming school year!

The Bloomfield Lady Wildcats Basketball Team is hosting a basketball camp for all girls (even girls outside our district) this summer, June 3rd-6th.

Registration forms and payment are due by May 10th. These are available in the office.

Girls in summer school are allowed to attend.

The 2024 summer school dates have been approved. Elementary and middle school summer school will be Monday, May 20 - Monday, June 10. Lots of fun activities are being planned, and all students are invited to attend! Some students will be recommended or required based on academic performance and/or attendance. These letters are coming home today!

CHROMEBOOKS and chargers will be collected beginning Thursday, May 9. Students should remove all stickers, etc. from chromebooks and bring their chargers to school. The chromebook insurance does not cover lost devices or chargers. The fee to replace a device is $300, and the fee to replace the charger is $20.

Books for Bucks is an excellent program to promote reading at BMS!
