Join us for a night of family fun! Friday, April 14th in the Anderson Gym. Doors open at 6:15 movie begins at 6:30. Cost is FREE! Snacks including popcorn, lemonade, and water will be sold for $1 each. Don’t forget to bring your blankets and/or chairs. Families are also welcome to bring along a picnic dinner. All children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult. This is not a drop-off event.

Anderson will be having a Talent Show on May 23rd at 6:00 in the gym. Those in the talent show need to arrive at 5:30pm

KINDERGARTEN & 2ND GRADE PARENTS - DON'T FORGET TO TURN IN YOUR CHILD'S DENTAL FORM!

The State of Illinois requires that all students in Kindergarten and 2nd Grade submit a current Dental Exam form to the school Health Office by May 15th. These examinations must be completed within 18 months of this date. If your child has had a dental exam within this time period, please contact your dentist to request a school dental exam form to submit to the nurse. Thank you!

As a reminder, the following health forms are also required for school attendance. Forms can be accessed on the D303 website or through the links below:

Kindergarten:

Physical Exam, Vision Exam, Health Survey (all are due on first day of school)

Please open and read this letter from Mr. Jarot regarding the opportunity for you to provide input about your child as we begin the process of building classroom rosters. As noted in the letter, information is needed by Friday, April 24th.

IAR testing dates for Anderson will wrap up this week on the 11th and 12th for those students who need to makeup the test. Please make sure your students get a good night's rest, that your students get to school on time with a charged chrome book to help our IAR testing go smoothly. Students take one assessment a day and we work hard to ensure they are motivated, encouraged, and excited to show how much they have learned this year. Of course State Testing, is not anyone's favorite thing to do, however we help connect with each student to do their best and be proud of their learning. Our staff use this data to help us monitor how we are doing as a school and know what areas we need to focus on in the future. Thank you for simply encouraging your child to do their best.
