PM Kindergarten Parents- if your child needs their picture retaken, please bring them to Windsor at 9:15 am on November 2nd to get their photo taken.

Our students continue to be kind, safe, and responsible! This month they have earned a PJ day which will be held on November 3rd!
ABC25:
Windsor is currently at 20.81% membership, needing only 20 more households to join to meet the 25% goal.
If your family is not yet a member of the ABC/25 Foundation, join today by visiting abc25.org/donate. All students of participating families will be entered in a drawing to win a ride to school from the Arlington Heights Police Department! All memberships dues go directly towards grants awarded to the teachers and classrooms of District 25.
There are families in our community that can use a little extra help during the holiday season. Please contact me if your family is one that would benefit from this assistance. This is meant to be “a hand up, not a hand out”. The staff is collecting gift cards to various local stores. These gift cards will be distributed amongst the families that reply. Please contact my confidential voicemail or email by November 30th if you are interested or if you have any questions.
Congrats to Allison Keough and Colleen Higgins who, on behalf of Benefit Technology Resources, and the District 25 benefits program, were nominated and chosen to receive a $250 gift card award for going above and beyond for their dedication to our special education students and the development of the District 25 Special Olympics Program.
Have a wonderful weekend,

Staff Spotlight:
Colleen Higgins
Hi! My name is Colleen Higgins and I am one of the kindergarten and 1st grade instructional teachers at Windsor. This is my sixth year teaching in District 25 and along with Mrs. Keough, I am also the Special Olympics Athletic Director for AHSD25. I have a Bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University in Special Education (LBS1), an ESL endorsement from National Louis University, and a Master’s degree in Literacy Education from Northeastern Illinois University.
When I’m not at Windsor I love exploring my Chicago neighborhood! I’m always looking to try new restaurants and coffee shops. I also enjoy spending time with family (especially my niece), reading books, and traveling to new places!
I feel so lucky to be a Windsor Wildcat!
Allison Keough
I am Allison Keough (Key-oh)!! I have been teaching in the instructional special education program here at Windsor going on 5 years now, but also taught special education in Chicago for 11 years. Along with Ms. Higgins, I am also the Special Olympics Athletic Director for SD25. I have a Bachelor's degree from Michigan State University in both General Education and Special Education specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing as well as a Masters from DePaul in Learning Disabilities K-21, a middle school endorsement in ELA and ESL K-8th. I have a husband named Tommy, two daughters, Leona (5) and Eva (3) and a dingus chocolate lab named Roscoe. I’m a big fan of Amazon, Oreo anything, organizing everything, Reese Cups and floating on our boat in the summers!
I love working at Windsor, coming here was a breath of fresh air and living in Arlington Heights is the perfect place for us to raise our little family!
