E is for...Eagles
Students in Mrs. Ferguson's classroom in Cairo Durham have been watching "Jackie and Shadow" through a live feed on their SMART TV in their classroom. The live feed is located in Big Bear Valley, California. Fun fact: Did you know that BIG BEAR VALLEY is the 7th most Biologically Diverse place in the country? If you are interested in following Jackie and Shadow, click on the video link below.
R is for...Rockets!
Students in Mrs. Lavoo's classroom in Berlin learned how to make a rocket out of a balloon and air. They then attached a rocket ship they created on a balloon. After a countdown, Ms. Chrissy let the balloon go and the students observed how many feet the rockets went based on their observations.
V is for...Valentines!
Students in Mrs. L's class at Genet had some fun sampling some chocolate while graphing which flavor they liked the best between "Hugs", which was white and milk chocolate and "Kisses" which was just milk chocolate. XOXO
Valentine's Surprise
Students walked into their classroom on 2/14 to heart shaped balloons and fun activities for not only Valentine's day but the 100th day of school!

100th Day of School!
Every Pre-K classroom celebrated the 100th day of school in their own way. This is a significant milestone for your little ones! They have made so much progress and should be celebrated for their accomplishments. It also means they are more than half way through with their Pre-K experience and soon will be getting recruited by schools for kindergarten. Well, not quite, but they will be getting ready for their next stage in development. We still have time, but I have to say I am very proud of every single one of our students. Congrats on 100 days!!
Total Eclipse 4.8.24
Turn around, every now and then I get a little bit lonely and you're never coming 'round… If you know that song then you’ll know where I’m going with this. The only difference is that it’s not a total eclipse of the heart but we will be having a total solar eclipse on 4/8. Please check out some links about the eclipse below and safety tips! And of course now that some of you are humming the tune, I thought I would add Bonnie Tyler's "Total Eclipse of the Heart," below!
