We hope our families have had a good start to the month of December.

Although the weather has warmed up, we have planned and are ‘hunkering down’ for the winter months. In preparation of having more students staying indoors for the lunch hour, we have a number of activities and clubs for our students to participate in.

Being the season of giving, we would like to extend our gratitude to our parents and caregivers who have volunteered their time to the school. Whether it has been to help with field trips, coaching, fundraising, and supporting our division programs, your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Stay tuned in the new year for more avenues parents and caregivers can get involved. Our next signature event at Sherwood Heights will be a career fair in February. We will be doing an ‘all call’ to parents and caregivers asking if you would like to volunteer your time and expertise in having a booth for students to come ask you about career pathways.

In closing, congratulations to all of our volleyball teams for making it to the Division I Semifinal. Both junior teams and the senior girls will be playing in the bronze medal games and our senior boys are going for gold this week.

Also, our band students will be performing in the Christmas concert at SAL to accommodate more seating this Friday at 6:00 p.m.
