Our bible verse for February, "A Friend Loves at all Times" Proverbs 17:17, is perfect timing with Valentine's Day being the big event for the month. We will be having Valentine exchanges on the 13th or 14th with each class. If you have any questions about the Valentines exchange please reach out to your child's teacher for details.

SmallTalk Speech Therapy will be coming to Mount Olive on March 12! If you would like for your child to receive a free speech assessment please complete the attached form and return it to the office by February 28th.

Some of you have been inquiring about Summer Camps. We are not offering Summer Camps this year in order to do some campus improvements. We are excited to share that we are getting a bathroom remodel and some playground upgrades. Fortunately, we will be offering one week of Vacation Bible School in July - date TBD, stay tuned!

On rainy days, the children will be doing Early Drop Off in their classrooms. Their teachers will be ready to welcome them at 8:30.

With Valentine's Day right around the corner, you might be looking to make a treat with your kiddo. Try these Love Monster Energy Bites! They are a healthful, no-bake treat that your child will love to make and eat!

While preparing, think about the following teaching points:

• hygiene - washing hands and tools that will be used
• measurement - liquid vs. dry measurements
• ingredients - how were they grown and harvested?
  
• health benefits - what ingredients are good for us? what ingredients should we eat in moderation?
