5th Grade Promotion - A Note from Principal Waufle
Hello 5th grade families,
We'll be celebrating our 5th graders' completion of elementary school on Wednesday, June 12th at 1:15pm in our cafeteria. This celebration is an opportunity for each student to be recognized by their teacher with a certificate of completion. The assembly will begin at 1:15pm with a few words from me followed by each 5th grade teacher announcing their students to walk across the stage and receive their certificate.
After the assembly, students will gather under the covered play area outside to enjoy light refreshments. Families are welcome to attend.
Parking will be difficult so please consider walking and/or parking in the surrounding neighborhoods. I respectfully request that you don't bring balloons, flowers, gifts, etc. for your child.
Every visitor will need to check in and out with the front office. Families may sign their child out and take them home after the assembly or students may stay and take their usual transportation home at the end of the school day.
Go Bucks,
Cori
PARKING IS VERY LIMITED, SO PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY!
Looking ahead to 2024-2025

Be a kind neighbor when parking in King City!
King City Highlands HOA Reminder (directly across 131st from the school)
2. Please stop parking in the yellow-curb section, north side of Peachvale. There is a clearly identified "No Parking" sign, and, yes the yellow is faded, but will soon be renewed. This section is for sight distance while exiting Peachvale and frequently parents are parking right to the corner. They will begin asking KC Police to monitor this situation. When one resident asked a parent to move her car upon parking there, she walked away from me and directly to the school. This is a safety hazard for both residents and other, properly-parked parents exiting the area.
Help Design the King City Trail!
The city of King City is working on a plan for the Westside Trail segment in King City, and they need your ideas!
• Help identify the potential uses to add to the park, such as a community garden, play areas, sports fields and more.
• Let them know your thoughts and provide input on what you would like to see in the park. More info and online survey here: https://bit.ly/kcwestsidetrail
