IMPORTANT REMINDERS
DEADLINE TO APPLY: MARCH 21, 2025
🔹Transcripts will automatically be attached to each application submitted. You DO NOT need to request one from your Guidance Counselor.
🔹If a teacher recommendation letter is needed to complete your application, please request that from your teacher well in advance. Please also notify the teacher if the letter must be anonymous so your name is not included in their letter , if the committee is requesting it. Any letters not marked anonymous will not be considered.
🔹Students are responsible for handing in completed scholarship applications with all required and necessary materials attached. Deadline will not be extended for incomplete applications.
🔹All applications should be turned in to Mrs. Osterman in the Guidance Department.
1. Darryl J. Bott Award for Musical Excellence
Available to seniors planing to continue their education in college with a major in music.
2. RHS Band Patrons Association Merit Award
Open to members of a high school band or band front for four years. Two years must have been served in the Roxbury High School Band or band front.
3. Lincoln/Roosevelt Staff Memorial Scholarship
Available to a graduating senior & current Roxbury resident. Student must have also attended L/R School for at least 6th grade.
4. McMurtrie Scholarship Fund
Available to seniors continuing their education in colleges, tech/vocational, business or nursing schools.
5. Patrick Milde Memorial Scholarship
Available to a graduating senior who was a member of the RHS varsity soccer, swimming, cross country or football teams. This scholarship will be awarded to both a male and female student.
6. James O'Donnell Mt. Arlington PTO Scholarship
Open to any Mt. Arlington students planning to attend a two year or four year college.
7. Roxbury Administrators Scholarship
Open to any senior pursuing a career in education who has supported younger learners by tutoring, mentoring and encouragement.
8. Roxbury Area Chamber of Commerce Scholarship
Available to seniors planning a career in business or related fields.
9. Roxbury Arts Alliance Scholarship
The Roxbury Arts Alliance (RAA) Scholarship is dedicated to supporting talented and passionate students pursuing a career in the arts. This scholarship is designed to empower individuals who demonstrate a deep commitment to the creative disciplines, whether in the fields of visual arts, animation, computer graphics, cinematic art, visual effects, photography, performing arts, music, literature, or other forms of artistic expression.
10. Roxbury PBA#311 Det. Kyle Sheplak Scholarship
Available to a graduating senior who will be pursuing a career in law enforcement.
11. Roxbury Rotary Club Scholarship
Available to seniors continuing their education in colleges, technical/vocational, business or nursing schools.
12. Nicklaus J. Russo Academic Sportsman & Meritorious Honor Award
Available to a student for participation in a varsity sport senior year.
13. Nicklaus J. Russo RHS Marching Band Scholarship
Available to a member of the RHS Marching Band for at least 3 years.
14. Amanda Rydell Nagy Memorial Scholarship
Available to a female senior pursuing a career in business or education with 3 years of high school sports.
15. Valley Pharmacy Scholarship
Applicant must be enrolled or accepted, and planning to enroll full time in the Fall of 2022, in an undergraduate program in either Chemistry or Business.
16. Joseph S. Wargo Jr. Memorial Scholarship
Available to a Mt. Arlington resident or attended Mt. Arlington school system.
17. Wilkins and Pinkerton Health Sciences Scholarship
Applicant must be an outstanding senior at Roxbury High School who has demonstrated superior academic achievement and community service and is pursuing a career in the health sciences (pharmaceuticals)
18. The Nicole Barbato-Connolly REA Memorial Scholarship
Available to a student pursuing a career in education., This includes school nurse, therapist and librarian.
19. Treloar Family Football Scholarship
Aavailable to a graduating senior of RHS football team.
20. Rox-THON Henry Aulenbach Memorial Scholarship
Available to a senior and active member of Rox-Thon and demonstrates kindness, compassion and empathy for others in their everyday lives.
21. Dean Michael Clarizio Cancer Foundation Scholarship
Available to a RHS senior in good academic standing , who has experienced cancer personally or through an immediate family member and interested in continuing his/her education.
22. Roxbury Woman's Club Scholarship
Available to a graduating senior who exemplifies academic distinction, service and leadership.
23. The Michael G. Dontas Memorial Family Scholarship
Available to an oustanding graduating senior. The applicant's character, commitment to family values, life experiences, work ethic, and commitment to succeed will be considered as well as the applicant's financial need.
24. The Anthony and Kellie Ventricelli Memorial Scholarship
Applicant must be looking to develop their trade by furthering their education at a vocational school.
25. The Keith Hayde/Janis Murphy Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship will be awarded to a student who plans to attend the County College of Morris, another County College, or a Technical or Vocational School.
26. Ella Wink Dillon Scholarship
Applicant must be a current Roxbury resident, graduated from EMS and a member of the current graduating class.
27. Mt. Arlington Fire Department Scholarship
Available to a graduating senior who wishes to continue their education at a junior college, college, vocational, technical, business, or nursing school. All students, regardless of academic standing, are encouraged to apply.
28. Rotary Club of Lake Hopatcong Scholarship
Open to all MT ARLINGTON or LANDING students planning to attend a four-year or two-year college or trade school. Applicant should have demonstrated excellent character, leadership, dedication, and perseverance.
29. Samuel B. Beale Memorial Scholarship
Applicant must be enrolled, or accepted and planning to enroll, full time, in the Fall of 2025 in an undergraduate program leading to a bachelor’s degree or an associate degree at an accredited college or university. Applicant MUST also be enrolled and excelled in at least one Business/Media Department course
30. SERVPRO Team Blehl Scholarship
Applicant must be a graduating senior and planning to develop their trade by furthering their education at a vocational, trade, technical school.
