A Message from Roundtown Principal, Dr. Miller
Happy Friday, Roundtown Families & Friends!
The children are working so very hard here at school despite the extra excitement in the air and weather challenges we have been having with cold, wind, and rain! It's hard to believe we are looking at one more full school week of 2024 and then a break for the holidays once more. Our goal next week will be to keep the kids engaged, learning, and having fun along the way!
I hope you have a great weekend! It was so great to be able to come back to school on Thursday. My mom's mastectomy was a huge success and I could not believe how quickly she bounced back. Dad and I did everything we could to take care of her but she brushed us off and said, "I'm fine!" She told me before I left that she and dad would be coming to me here in York for the holiday. I am completely amazed at my remarkable mom and what a strong and brave woman she is. I want to thank you, my school family, for your well-wishes, care, concern, and support through a difficult first part of the school year for me. Let the healing begin!
Regards,
Dr. Miller
Roundtown Principal
