SPECIAL MESSAGE TO K - 3RD GRADE PARENTS
We have noticed a lot of parents still walking their kiddos to class in the morning and throughout the day if they arrive late. It's difficult for us to say "no," as we are parents too; but we must ask that you do not do this. We know it's hard to say goodbye, but please do so at the door (or lobby if arriving late). This encourages independence for each student, as well as limits disruptions to the class(es). If your younger student is hesitant to walk to their class alone, our safety patrol or office staff will be glad to walk them down. Thank you for understanding and for helping us to keep our school days running efficiently for our students!
From Handbook:
In order to provide a safe and distraction free environment no parent may go directly to a classroom during school hours.
PLEASE DRESS KIDS APPROPRIATELY FOR COOLER WEATHER
We have been blessed with a beautiful Fall but as we saw the flurries this morning it is a good reminder that temperatures are beginning to drop. Please make sure your kiddos have the right gear, not only for their ride to and from school but also for outdoor recess. This includes, warmer coats, hats, gloves, scarves, etc. Thank you!
HELP THOSE IN NEED OF SOME WARMTH THIS CHRISTMAS!! DEC 2ND - 18TH
NJHS and 4th grade are teaming up to keep families warm. The Warming Tree has been put up and is ready to be decorated with gloves, hats, scarves, coats, whatever you would like to donate to keep kids warm this winter. Thank you in advance!!
