Collaborate on Skill Related Fitness Components
In this activity, you and your partner will collect pictures of 12 physical activities that display the use of the six skill related fitness components.
Look back at the lessons in your course for examples of physical activities that help improve each of the six components of skill-related fitness.
· Power
· Speed
· Reaction Time
· Balance
· Agility
· Coordination
Activity Guidelines
· Your pictures can be of anyone performing the activities you have identified. (Just make sure to get their permission first!)
· You must take two pictures of two activities that meet each component of skill related fitness.
· Your pictures can only represent one component, even if they might relate to more than one of them. You and your partner both need 12 unique photos.
· Your pictures must be your own snapshots and not images you have collected from the internet.
Once you have collected your 12 photos, email them to your partner. You should communicate back and forth to develop a creative presentation of all 22 photos. There’s no need to be wordy in your presentation; let the pictures do the talking. The only words required in your project are:
· a presentation title
· your name and your partner’s name
· the name of each activity and the health-related component it addresses
You may communicate with your partner using emails or any type of social media.
The presentation you complete with your partner will be evaluated using the rubric file below.
After you have completed your presentation, use the Collaboration Reflection document below to evaluate, and reflect on your collaboration experience.
