Volume 3 ~ Issue 27 ~ Week of March 2, 2025
Viking Spotlight: 8th grader, Alondra Diaz
π Message from the Principal π
Vikings, the first progress report of the semester was released last Friday, giving students and families an important checkpoint to see how things are going. This is a great opportunity to reflect on both strengths and areas for growth. If your grades are where you want them to be, keep up the good work by staying organized, turning in assignments on time, and actively participating in class. If you see room for improvement, donβt be discouragedβthereβs still plenty of time to make progress before the next report!
To improve your grades over the next six weeks, start by reviewing any missing assignments and turning in what you can. Set a daily routine for studying, and donβt hesitate to ask your teachers for help if youβre struggling with a concept. Take advantage of our after-school tutoring opportunities and Saturday Academy, and use a planner to keep track of due dates. Most importantly, stay engaged in class, ask questions, and put in your best effort every day. Small, consistent improvements now will lead to better results on the next progress report. You got this, Vikings!!
March is also Womenβs History Month, a time to recognize and celebrate the many contributions women have made throughout history. From science and politics to art and activism, women have shaped the world in powerful ways. This month, take the time to learn about inspiring women who have broken barriers and paved the way for future generations. Whether through class discussions, independent reading, or school events, letβs honor the achievements of women past and present!
Let's make it a great week, Vikings!! π
