A Message from the Principals
Welcome back (officially), Pine Brook Families!
We had the most fantastic start to a new year at Pine Brook! We are looking forward to spending 177 more days with your child this year! Our theme for this school year as a district is Empower. From innovative classroom projects to fun-filled school events, there will be countless opportunities for your child to explore their interests, develop new skills, and make contributions to leading at Pine Brook.
We are excited to partner with you in nurturing their unique talents and helping them reach their full potential. We look forward to a year filled with laughter, learning, and incredible growth. Let's make this school year the best one yet!
Your Proud Principals,
Andrea & Allie

π‘ Reminders π‘
- We will be conducting drills during the week of September 9th-13th. We will continue to support students in their understanding of emergency responses to ensure preparedness.
- All visitors to the building must have a scheduled appointment with a staff member and be prepared to show identification to enter the building for their appointment.
π Social Emotional Learning π
Building our social-emotional learning skills is an important goal for our school this year. We will be asking for your child to reflect on their own mindsets and approaches to learning via an online survey they will be completing at school. The survey shouldnβt take more than 20-30 minutes to complete and will ask students to self-reflect on relationship skills, responsible decision making, social awareness, self-management, and self-awareness. The results will be reviewed and services may be offered based on responses.

π± Who to Call π±
Who to Call With Questions is a Resource for Families
Building trust and ensuring that there are open lines of communication between home and school are essential for student success. We want to be sure you know who to contact with questions or concerns. In December, the district shared a new resource for families. In case you missed it, this linked Who to Call with Questions, Concerns and Compliments reference guide is a step-by-step guide families can use to ensure questions are answered quickly and effectively. Please refer to it whenever you need to speak to someone about your childβs progress. Whether your inquiry is about academics, safety, or services and supports, there are people at the school and district level who are ready to help whenever a question or concern arises.
For Step 1 concerns at Pine Brook, please start with the person closest to the situation. They should be able to help you navigate the situation. If the concern rises to a Step 2, please contact the Assistant Principal. For your convenience there is a list below of contacts at Pine Brook:
