Loving God,
Gracious God, as we enter this Year of Jubilee, we thank You for the gift of renewal and restoration. May this year be a time of healing, forgiveness, and reconciliation. 2025 – The year of Jubilee
The Year of Jubilee is a time for spiritual renewal, reflection, and reconciliation, offering us an opportunity to experience God's grace and mercy in a profound way. Traditionally, the Jubilee year calls us to restore relationships and celebrate the blessings of life. It is a time for us to renew our commitment to living with compassion, kindness, and justice, while deepening our connection to God and one another. Let us embrace this special year with open hearts, seeking peace and healing for ourselves and our community.
Parent Information Sessions
It was fantastic to see so many parents at our Parent Information Evening. This event provided a valuable opportunity for our dedicated teachers to share the structure of our 2025 timetables and the exciting learning plans ahead. I enjoyed sitting in on some of the meetings and feel incredibly blessed to work alongside professionals who thoughtfully plan for the students in their care. We look forward to continuing our partnership with families to support and nurture our students.
Daisy Dog – a school favourite already
Last Monday, Daisy visited the school for a few hours and quickly became a beloved favourite, soaking up every pat and cheerful "hello." We look forward to her occasional visits throughout the term whenever timetabling allows.
Sundowner – A Beloved Tradition
The St Denis Sundowner held on our beautiful school grounds is a cherished tradition that I fondly remember from as far back as 2003 when I first taught at the school—and I believe this tradition commenced even earlier! It’s a special event where our whole community comes together to celebrate the start of a new school year.
An enormous thank you to Nat Scali and the P&F for their incredible effort in organising what promises to be a fantastic evening. I look forward to seeing as many families as possible join us for this wonderful celebration. See you there!
2026 Kindy Enrolments
Is your child born between July 1, 2021, and June 30, 2022? If so, they are eligible to start Kindy in 2026. A letter has been sent to families who have provided enrolment forms for interviews which have commenced this week.
If you have not already done so, enrolment forms are available at the school office or enquiries can be logged on our website: https://www.stdenis.wa.edu.au/enrolment-form/
Teacher-led Playgroup
I am excited to share that we will be launching a teacher-led playgroup commencing Thursday 6 March! Mrs Anderson, our dedicated Pre-Kindy teacher, will be leading engaging experiences where families can enjoy quality time with their children while becoming familiar with our school. This playgroup is open to St Denis families as well as local community members looking for a fun and enriching morning activity. We look forward to welcoming you! Please contact our friendly administration team should you have any further questions.
Wishing our beautiful school community a wonderful upcoming fortnight

Election Day Cake Stall and Sausage Sizzle - Saturday 8 March
The P&F are once again holding their popular cake stall & sausage sizzle at the Election Day on Saturday 8th of March. This is a fantastic fundraising opportunity and we’re calling on ALL families to mark it on their calendars, dust off their aprons, and help by baking, cakes, biscuits, muffins, and slices.
Free packaging materials will be available at a stall outside the school gate from Tuesday the 4th of March to Friday 7th of March before and after school.
We will also require volunteers to help on the day. More information, along with a volunteer link, will be detailed in a flyer emailed to all parents next week.
If you have any questions, please contact Tegan on 0431 373 144 or Gloria on 0439 916 069.
