January Leadership at Home: 7 Habits Review
1. Be Proactive
- Activity: Share one proactive choice each family member made today.
- Reflection: How did it feel to take responsibility?
2. Begin with the End in Mind
- Activity: Draw or write one family goal for the year.
- Reflection: Why is having a goal important?
3. Put First Things First
- Activity: List your top three priorities for the week.
- Reflection: What’s one fun thing we can plan after our responsibilities are done?
4. Think Win-Win
- Activity: Solve a pretend disagreement (e.g., which game to play) by finding a win-win solution.
- Reflection: How does teamwork make decisions easier?
5. Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood
- Activity: One person shares a story; others listen and repeat what they heard.
- Reflection: How did listening help you understand better?
6. Synergize
- Activity: Work together to stack cups or build a small tower in under 2 minutes.
- Reflection: What made teamwork important for success?
7. Sharpen the Saw
- Activity: Do one relaxing activity together, like stretching, coloring, or a short walk.
- Reflection: How does taking a break make us stronger?
