Holiday Greetings from Eagan HS
Dear Parents and Guardians, Students and families,
As we approach the end of the year, I want to extend my heartfelt wishes to all of you for a joyous and safe holiday season. This time of year is perfect for reflecting on the successes and challenges of the past months, and I am incredibly proud of the accomplishments our students have achieved.
The holiday break is a wonderful opportunity for families to come together, create memories, and enjoy the festive season. I hope you find time to relax, unwind, and cherish the moments with your loved ones. Please remember to stay safe and take good care of yourselves during this period.
We are excited to welcome all students back to school on Thursday, January 2, 2025. As we prepare for the upcoming year, we are committed to continuing our mission of providing a supportive and enriching educational environment for every student. We look forward to seeing our well rested students ready to embark on new learning adventures.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support. We wish you and your family a wonderful holiday season filled with joy, peace, and prosperity.
Warm regards,
DR. Polly Reikowski
EHS Principal

If you have a sophomore student with a cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.8, or a student in grades 10-11 with a Honors Status and a 3.6 GPA and above, they may be eligible for induction into the National Honor Society. Membership in the local chapter is a great honor that recognizes outstanding scholarship, service, leadership, and character in a student. To be considered for membership, eligible students must complete an application and information form. Although GPA is a primary factor in determining eligibility, students must also demonstrate leadership, service, and character.
TO MEET THE SERVICE REQUIREMENT, STUDENTS MUST DOCUMENT AT LEAST 24 HOURS OF SERVICE THAT ARE NOT REQUIRED BY ANOTHER ORGANIZATION FROM JUNE 2024 UNTIL THE TIME OF APPLICATION.
If you are hoping to apply for membership this April, make sure to fulfill the service hour requirement and complete your application on time. Once selected, members have the responsibility to continue demonstrating the qualities that earned them membership.
An Induction Ceremony will be held on May 19, 2025 for new inductees and returning members.
