Beanstack Challenge Winners!
Congratulations! The classes shown below logged the most minutes in April's "Spring into Reading" Beanstack Challenge. The students chose their own prize, which was to either go to the duck coop or go to the book vending machine. You can see that the winning prize was to hang with Ms. Quackers and the duckling!
May is Mental Health Awareness Month
During this month, we focus on education surrounding mental health and resources available to address it. We also encourage inclusive and empathetic language surrounding mental health.
All year, we teach students coping skills to build mental strength as well as how to ask for help when they need it. For Mental Health Awareness Month, students will be writing and drawing ways that they can build their mental and emotional strength. Strong4Life is a great resource for parents on how to build resiliency and coping skills with their children.

We have something for everyone – Our all-day outdoor/indoor sports camp is for ages 5-12. We'll be hosting camp at New Prospect Elementary School! This camp will be our best yet; basketball, football, baseball, soccer, games, weekly cookouts (yum!), water play, competitions, special guests, and more!
Our staff is composed of former professional and collegiate athletes, experienced coaches, current high school athletes, former teachers, and professionals who are experienced and skilled in coaching and whole child development. We focus on helping young athletes gain confidence in a number of team sports through personalized instruction and positive reinforcement – We are a camp for all skill levels and are intentional about fostering a love of sports in a healthy way. We emphasize values like respect, teamwork, good sportsmanship, and leadership to encourage children to grow not only their athleticism but also their character.
We believe in developing the whole child and making an impact that will last. Our mission is to help the next generation develop a passion for sports – one camp, coach, and child at a time.
Hi-Five Sports Camp is organized by themed weeks and offers multiple team sports designed for children from Pre-K to 8th grade. Our camp is about so much more than winning and losing – it is about learning interpersonal skills, developing friendships, healthy competition, playing hard, and playing fair. Finally! -- A camp that is as encouraging as it is challenging, as safe as it is high-energy, and as instructional as it is fun. CLICK HERE
