Falcon Flyer
Belong. Inspire. Grow.
Straight from the Hardt
Hello Ridgeline Families- It’s been relatively quiet around here this week. We wrapped up the winter sports season and transition to “spring” sports on Monday. Definitely not going to be like the weather the Mariners are enjoying in Arizona—dress warm!
We had a 3A Academic State Champion this season—congrats to our Girls Gymnastics team! Maintaining high academic standards and competing at the varsity level demonstrates a lot of grit and hard work!
We will complete registration for our current 9-11 graders this coming Tuesday, and finish with our current 8th graders the following week. Mark your calendar for March 7—Future Falcon Family Night for current 8th graders and parents. Immediately followed by our first annual PowderPuff Football Classic!
Last year we decided Ridgeline needed a “thing”. We wanted to have some fun! Born out of this thinking came VERDE LOCO! Now we own the month of March and get a little Crazy with class competitions, hallway decorations, mixer, dance competition, and much more! Such as… SHOP LOCO! Look for our SHOP LOCO business partners and sponsors so you can support them, which in turn, support us! Follow our socials for regular updates on featured businesses. We take GREEN pride and spirit to the next level! It’s a chance for everyone to be involved in some way and it all kicks off Wednesday, March 1 with a spirit assembly! Now we look forward to March and our “spirit” will hopefully keep us warm til spring!
Today I was asked to participate in a podcast with Mr. Schilb's class. Enjoying answering questions from our amazing students!
Stay up to date with what’s happening at RHS by taking a skim through the Flyer every week. Thank you!
Make it a great weekend! --Mr. Hardt

Running Start: Mandatory Meeting Make-ups
Last week, Ridgeline hosted a mandatory meeting for all new Running Start student participants and their families, and counselors explored more deeply the nature of the program, its finer details, and the responsibilities associated with participation. If you were unable to make the meeting and your student wishes to participate as a new Running Start student during the 23-24 academic year, please contact his/her grade-level counselor to schedule an individual meeting for you and your student. Your student’s grade-level counselor will sign-off on his/her application documents once this meeting is complete. If you have questions and/or you would like to schedule your meeting, please contact Mrs. McMurtrey (mmcmurtrey@cvsd.org 11th grade) or Mrs. Fuller (afuller@cvsd.org 10th grade).
If you would like to review the information presented at last week’s meeting and/or dual credit-Advanced Placement (AP) information one of our AP teachers, Mrs. Teske, offered to students and parents during a virtual meeting several weeks ago, please access the links provided.
