TCS Attendance Excellence Recognition
Trussville City Schools is thrilled to recognize and celebrate the outstanding dedication of our students ( and their parents too!) who have achieved Perfect Attendance during the first 75 instructional days of the school year. These remarkable individuals have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to their education by consistently attending school. Their determination not only sets a positive example for their peers but also reflects their understanding of the value of education.
Join us in applauding these students for their hard work, perseverance, and exemplary attendance!
Circool Launches in Trussville City Schools
Our schools are transitioning to Circool as our district-wide visitor management program. This is another measure to assure the parents, guardians, and the community that the system is working diligently to provide a safe and secure environment for TCS students and staff. When you need to enter our school beyond the atrium, you will checkin at the front desk, present your Circool QR Code and receive a name badge.
Why Circool? Many of our schools have been using Circool when we host events, now Circool will also be used for individual entry, reunification and soon many other applications. We recognize the need for fewer, more integrated applications, not only to enhance school safety but also to streamline your experience.

Just like the precious sisters’ message in the show, this entire program has been an “act of love.” Our 4th and 5th grade STEM classes have assisted in creating the posters, social media ads, and props for the show. Our set has been designed with 4th and 5th grade students in EnRICh. And our AMAZING Frozen KIDS cast is comprised of an incredible group of 4th and 5th grade students – who have a passion for song and theater. We PROUDLY invite you to our show and welcome you to join our Facebook/Instagram pages for all things FROZEN! Tickets are on sale now!
Cahaba Students Recognized for their Resilience
Cahaba students from each classroom were honored this month for showing resilience—persevering through challenges and staying determined. Teachers and classmates selected students who never gave up and inspired others with their hard work.
To celebrate, the school hosted a special breakfast where each student invited a family member or friend. Staff praised them for their dedication and reminded everyone that resilience leads to success in learning and life. Congratulations to these students! You inspire us with your amazing character!
Congratulations to HTMS Art Students, Sophie Burt (6th Grade), Dakota Grguric (7th Grade), and Miguel Rodriguez (8th Grade) for having their artwork selected for showcase at the State Superintendent's Visual Art Exhibit in Montgomery. Paine Students Explore the Immigration Process
This week at Paine Elementary, 2nd graders discovered many challenges related to immigration. They interviewed family members about their own challenges in coming to America. They read stories about immigrants from different cultures and chose activities to represent their own family’s journey to America. They made family trees, wrote about family members who were inspirations, shared family artifacts, listened to music that represented their culture, and even sampled family recipes. The students enjoyed sharing their stories with peers and learning new information about each other.

We will host the Student Art Collective on Thursday, February 13th from 4-7:30pm at the Gallery at the Curb (109 Glenn Ave, Trussville). The creativity of these young artists will take center stage in a gallery showcase where parents, friends and community members can see what our art programs are all about and bid on original student art to add to their collections!
