Updates from the Cafeteria
To deposit money into your child's lunch account electronically visit myschoolbucks.com to create an online account. You can also download the mobile app. Students can bring in cash to lunch, but sometimes that money gets stuck in pockets instead of deposited with the cafeteria staff. Students may bring a lunch from home on any day they choose.
JA JobSparks Trip
8th graders were able to attend JA JobSparks at the IN State Fairgrounds this past week! Our students represented themselves well with positive interactions and experiences. We hope that all Cadet graduates are prepared for the next level whether that's Enrollment, Enlistment, or Employment!
3E Day at CHS
8th graders got another chance this week to connect with industry and educational professionals at CHS's 3E Day! Thank you to the planners and volunteers for all of the time to make this event a success!

Be the "I" in KIND
These students were caught being KIND this week! Cole helped to put away and organize all of the extra music stands in the band classroom. It made a huge difference in the organization of the room. Ella brought in snacks for students who need one when they visit the clinic. Noah and Gabe helped a guest speaker in Science to clean up her materials and get ready for the next class. Rhylee stopped to help a peer who dropped their materials and offered to help them get their things back to their locker. Byson helped his teacher clean up her desk when she knocked over her water. It's small acts like these that make our school a great place!
See You At The Pole
Early Wednesday morning CMS and CHS students and staff joined together for this year's See You At The Pole event!
Hendricks Power Award - Mrs. Searcy
Hendricks Power is delighted to share that Mrs. Searcy, the Agricultural teacher at Cascade Middle and High School, has been honored with the Empowering Students Award. Mrs. Searcy's dedication and genuine care for her students make her a deserving recipient of this recognition.
One of the nominations came directly from her administrator, Mr. Blickenstaff, Principal of Cascade Middle School. He commended Mrs. Searcy for her outstanding contributions, stating, "Mrs. Searcy has single-handedly created an agriculture program for Cascade Middle and Cascade High School. Her program has enriched our students' education and instilled in them a sense of environmental and agricultural responsibility.
Mrs. Searcy is the FFA Advisor and teaches multiple high school classes, such as Principles of Ag, Ag-Power, Horticulture, and Environmental Science. Which means she teaches a different class every period."
In honor of this recognition, Mrs. Searcy was awarded $250 to support her classroom wishlist, a trophy to celebrate her achievements, and her first-period class enjoyed a fun donut party!
Thank you, Mrs. Searcy, for your unwavering dedication to your students and the community!
