WMHS Weekly Information
September 2-6, 2024
From the Principal's Desk
Zebra Nation,
Welcome Back Zebra Nation! The 'first week' is in the books. It's so great to see you all back in the building. I hope that your classes are off to an amazing start. Four day week ahead for us this coming week.
Few things for you today –
- There are no hoods on heads INSIDE the building. This is for the safety of everyone in the building, as we HAVE to be able to identity every person INSIDE our building at all times. No hoods on heads!
- Breakfast runs from 6:45-7:05am. Come get breakfast to start your day!
- As high schoolers, young adults, you are responsible for cleaning up after yourself. Throw your own trash away at your table in the cafeteria.
- Your lunch schedule is based on your 4th hour teacher. They will tell you what lunch you have: A, B, or C. We also have it posted in the halls around WMHS. You need to be in the lunch that you are assigned to or you will be marked absent and this will be considered as skipping.
- Again, As high schoolers, young adults, you are responsible for cleaning up after yourself. Be responsible. Throw your own trash away at your table in the cafeteria.
- Take pride in WMHS! It’s all of our second home! We have a beautiful school. Keep it clean, nice, and neat.
- Buses - please know that the buses roll out in about 5 or 6 minutes at the end of the day. As a result, you need to be quick in getting to them once the 2pm bell rings to end our day.
As we get going in this school year, it’s very important that you get into routines AND that –
- You are at school every day.
- You get to class on time.
- You stay in class, where the 'teaching and learning' happens with you and your teacher.
- You make good choices! Choices have consequences and we will enforce the Code of Conduct. Please know that violent acts will not be tolerated!
- And always remember - You got this. We got you.
Have an amazing Labor Day Weekend! See you upon our return to school on Tuesday, 9/3.
