Safety and Security
The mission of Weatherford ISD is to teach, challenge and inspire each student in a safe nurturing environment to succeed in the global community.
To help create a safe environment for your children, the following drop off procedures are in place:
-School Zone speed limit is 20mph, please drive safely as you are picking up and dropping off.
-Students may be dropped off beginning at 7:00am at the South entrance (behind JCPenny).
-Students may be dropped off beginning at 7:30am at the East entrance (Texas Drive side).
-The first bell rings at 7:40am and students need to be in their seats ready for instruction at 7:50am. Students arriving after 7:50am will be marked tardy.
-All visitors must check in through the main office and be prepared to show their ID.
-For the safety of our students, there will be no early pick-up between 3:00-3:20pm.

- Friday, Say Boo! to drugs-Halloween Costumes (nothing violent or scary)
October 23rd- Lunch with a Loved One, grades k/2/4, Family Night at Book Fair 3:20-6:30pm
October 24th- Lunch with a a Loved One, grades 1/3/5
October 26th-Monster Bash, grades 4/5
November 6th- Family Science Night, 6-8pm
December 7th-Polar Express Night with Santa
March 4th-8th-Spring Book Fair
