Parker Updates

All 5th and 6th graders will be taking their state test on Tuesday and Wednesday. We will be having small group testing with Teel, Lesnau, Yott, Ferguson and Maddux on Monday-Friday. Please look at the flyers for our dates and rearrange appointments to ensure your child is here for their testing session. Students need to be at school before 7:40am with a charged Chromebook. Make sure they get good sleep the night before testing!

The MPS district nurse will be providing a presentation on puberty to your Parker Intermediate Center 5th grade student on May 10, 2024. The presentation has been reviewed and approved by school administration. The presentation will be offered in gender specific groups. During the presentation, students will receive information regarding basic changes their bodies will be experiencing during puberty. Student participation in the presentation is voluntary and confidential. Whether or not the student participates in the presentation, their course grade will not be affected.

After School Homework Help & Tutoring

**Homework Help and Tutoring will finish on Thursday, April 25th!**

Students who are struggling with turning in their assignments or nightly homework will be asked to stay after school until 4:00pm with a certified teacher to get help completing their work. These programs will be available to our students on Monday-Thursdays.
