Gwinnett Student Leadership Team - Sophomore Members Selected
Congratulations to the new members of Seckinger's Gwinnett Student Leadership Team (GSLT). Membership in GSLT is extremely competitive and applicants go through a rigorous selection process. Three sophomores are chosen each fall to join the team. We are excited to welcome Samantha Campanano, Gabrielle Watkins and Avery Burchette to represent the Class of 2027! GSLT members attend monthly leadership development and will implement projects to further develop our school culture.
"Issac-Terrence Doucoure is an exemplar student who is always working hard to do well in his classes, but he also has a spark in him, that shows that class might be more to him than just a means to an end. I have plenty of students who do fantastic work, but for many, it's just work. He seems to be listening in a different way than others that's hard to describe without having him as a student. I'm not sure what he intends to do in the future, but at least in my class, there's something genuine in his eyes while he's learning. This makes ELA seem like a good fit for him and that, in turn, makes it easier to teach him." -Mr Heraghty
"Savannah Bell is an amazing mathematical thinker. Savannah cares about her math grade & uses her knowledge and skills to collaborate with classmates and help them gain a better understanding. Savannah helps everyone around her reach higher levels." -Mr. Oldknow
"Peyton Linemann shows up everyday and gets to work. Even with being in football season, you would never know he was tired. He is so respectful and kind to me and his classmates." -Ms. Eaton
"Luciana Tabares demonstrates an amazing scientific curiosity and dedication to high achievement in class. She always seeks to find out more about what we are learning and truly looks for connections between her life and the content. She is a great role model to the younger students in her class and seeks to assist those who need it every day while also attending to her own high standards of achievement." -Ms. Hall
PTSA Teacher Appreciation Party

Final Exam Schedule
See attached pdf for a breakdown of the final exam schedule.
To ensure that all students have the opportunity to perform their best on their exams, there will be no student check-outs allowed during the final exam window. This procedure is necessary to minimize disruptions and maintain the integrity of the testing process. We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise, but we kindly request that appointments and other obligations be scheduled outside of this critical period. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.
