Dear Students & Families,
We had an incredibly successful Clubs’ Fair on Tuesday. We will post the Clubs, student/teacher leaders, and meeting dates & times as soon as they are finalized. In addition, we also had a visit from IB Arms to see the great work of our IB PYP, MYP, & DP teachers. We are truly unique as the only fully IB District in Colorado, and, to date, as the only public high school in the US to offer the MYP Certificate.

⭐Skier Spotlight⭐
I am thrilled to announce that the following students have been named Commended Students in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program. We are so impressed by these students and their hard work at Aspen High School. Each of these students has pursued the most rigorous course of study at AHS, while also following their passions on the field, on the hill, on the debate stage, and via clubs and service projects. We are so proud of these students!

Aspen Institute Design Program
Starting in October for 10th & 11th grade students:
The Herbert Bayer Young People’s Fellowship is a new initiative that challenges Roaring Fork Valley high school students to create a solution to a problem in their community, inspired by the multidisciplinary art and design of Herbert Bayer.
The program will offer 8 weekly in-person meetings at the Aspen Institute’s Bayer Center, with Andrew Travers leading the exploration of Bayer's unique art and design and the distinct focus on the artist-designer's vital role in society. The program will include in-depth tours, studio time, and design projects to address community needs.
- Come meet with Andrew Travers and learn more about the fellowship on Monday, September 30th at lunchtime in the Art Room. Sophomores and Juniors who are interested in art, design and innovative problem-solving should attend this meeting to learn more!
