Summer Construction Closeout

We are thrilled with the construction progress made this summer. Below are updates to the renovation project:

• The majority of new windows have been installed. The remaining few rooms will be complete this weekend. Some minor finishing work will be completed next week.
• Bathroom renovations are complete
• Classroom HVAC equipment is operational and cooling our classrooms
• Replacement of the chillers is targeted for late October/Early November, once the existing equipment is no longer needed.
• Our new emergency generator has been installed
• Installation of the new gym floor and bleachers is complete
• A portion of our site work is complete. Additional site work - i.e. repaving the parking lot will take place summer 2025
• Any work that will continue into the school year will take place during the 2nd shift to avoid student disruption

We would like to thank our community for your patience and support throughout the construction project. We would also like to thank all BCS staff for their hard work, patience and determination this past week. Walking into a building that is still undergoing renovations is not easy!

We are thrilled to start a new school year and for you all to see the upgrades to the district!
