It is time for another year of the Scripps National Spelling Bee.

This year's dates are:

• Classroom Meets - October

• Campus Meets - November

• District Meet - December 12 at 6:00pm at the Community Room

• Collin County Spelling Bee - February 6, 2025 at 6:00pm at the WGHS Auditorium

Watch your campus newsletters and communication for information about the Spelling Bee for your campus.

Students have a new way to study by downloading Word Club for free in the App Store or Google Play Store. Choose from five spelling play modes and three vocabulary play modes. Track your progress as you conquer the School Spelling Bee Study List and Words of the Champions, the recommended study resource for classroom, school, regional qualifier and regional spelling bees!

Prosper ISD is proud to offer our elementary, middle school, and high school UIL competitions to our students free of charge.

Throughout the year, we will have several opportunities for parents to support our UIL program by volunteering.

You will also need to complete a Volunteer Background Check found at the link below in order to volunteer. Once you have completed the form and submitted, please email rlkane@prosper-isd.net so that I can check on your status and get you cleared to help support our amazing students and coaches in the UIL Academics program.
