CES Happenings

Dear CES Family,

Week 1 is in the books! There has been much that every staff member has enjoyed about the start of this school year. As we launch into Week 2, I have a few reminders for you:

No school next Monday, September 4. We are closed for the Labor Day holiday.
Every Friday this year is a minimum day. TK gets out at their regular time of 12:00 PM, Kindergarten is out at 1:20 PM and grades 1-6 are out at 1:30 PM.
Parking: please do not park in front of the church across the street on Tuesdays. They have a weekly meeting on this day during the school year and need the space. Thank you!
Every Friday is a Spirit Day! Each grade level has the opportunity to win "Pizza with the Principal" if their class has the highest percentage of students dressed in green four times. Go Volcanoes!
Back-to-School Night: a reminder that this important annual event is next Tuesday, September 5th, from 5:45 PM to 7:00 PM. There is a parent meeting in the Gym from 5:45 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by two classroom presentations, the first running from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM, and the second from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Each of the classroom presentations are the same. This allows parents of more than one student to get to more than just one presentation. There will be student supervision play equipment out on the playground. Please plan on joining us! Hope to see you there.
