Early Ojibwe

Winter Entertainment
Once the children were done with their chores, they found a fun activity to do. The children played a bunch of fun activities like sledding down hills on toboggans and tree bark, they put on snowshoes and then raced through the woods, and they also played this game called snow-snake. Which is a game where they would see whose wooden pole would slide the farthest in the snow.
Winter Habitat
In Winter the Ojibwe people lived in wigwams. They were all spread out from their neighbors, miles and miles away from each other. They spread out like this because their food in Winter was very scarce. When they hunted in the Winter they could only feed a small amount of people because it was so scarce.
