GRANADA COMMUNITY
UPCOMING EVENTS
Granada High School Hosts Successful WASC Visit
Granada High School recently hosted a visiting committee from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) as part of our ongoing accreditation process. WASC accreditation ensures that our school meets rigorous standards for student learning, teacher effectiveness, and overall school quality. This multi-year process involves reflecting on our strengths and areas for growth, implementing improvement plans, and demonstrating our commitment to providing an exceptional education for every student.
During their visit, the WASC team met with students, staff, and families to learn more about our programs, culture, and achievements. Their observations affirmed the incredible dedication of our community to supporting student success. We look forward to receiving their final report and using their feedback to continue building on our strong foundation. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this visit a success!

Tip Line Message
At Granada, we strive to maintain a culture of safety, inclusiveness, and integrity where students, staff, and families alike feel safe and supported in bringing concerns of any kind to our attention. When we are made aware of issues, we make it our priority to address and resolve them in a timely manner. All of our administrators have an open-door policy and welcome students and parents to speak with us directly and respectfully about their concerns or issues without fear of being labeled negatively or retaliated against. Our goal is to address and fix issues that lead to greater student safety and success. Our Tip Line is another way to communicate concerns and issues which can be accessed 24/7 on student Chromebooks, our school and district websites, and the LVJUSD district app. While there is the option to leave tips anonymously, we’d like to encourage you to provide contact information with your tip whenever possible. We were recently able to resolve an issue in less than 24 hours because we were able to use contact information to gather the additional detail needed to properly address the concern. Anonymous tips will remain an option, however, our ability to take action and seek swift resolution on them can be limited based on the information provided. We appreciate your partnership in our efforts to resolve issues quickly and efficiently!
