It is my pleasure to shared with you the third edition of WSTA News. Please review carefully as we prepare to wrap up our first semester and plan for 2025.

I hope you all have a fabulous Winter Break! I look forward to an amazing spring semester with each of you!

This is a reminder, next week (December 16th - 20th) is exam week for all semester-long high school classes. Please review the information below regarding exams and plan accordingly.

• Students should report to their testing location each day at 10:10 am.
• Each day we will have a morning session and an afternoon session.
• Morning testing will begin at 10:30 am.
• Afternoon testing will begin at 2:00 pm.
• There will be a lunch break from 1:00 pm until 1:50 pm
• No student will be released until all exams for that session have been completed.
• If a student has an exam during the morning only, the student may sign out after the morning session ends at 1:00 pm.
• If a student has an afternoon exam only, the student may sign in before 1:50 pm.
• Attendance is only taken for high school students for the classes with exams on that day.
• Middle school students will continue their regular schedule Monday - Thursday. Friday will be an early dismissal day.

Below you will find a complete schedule for our high school exams. The schedule includes the day, time and location for each test. Please review carefully. If you have any questions, contact our Testing Coordinator, Mrs. Rachael Anderson.

On Friday, December 20th, we will dismiss two hours early. Please review the early dismissal schedule below.

When we return to school in January, we will begin each day with homeroom for the first week. Our high schools students will have some specific tasks we need to complete during this time in Major Clarity and this will allow us to get this done. Please plan accordingly.

In February, we will begin working with students to register for classes for the fall 2025 semester. Students in grades 8 - 11 will be receiving specific information from Mrs. Coates about the registration process for next year in the next couple of months. Stay tuned for more information.

The modular unit is in place and final touches are being made on the structure. We hope to be moving into the building during the 2nd semester. Stay tuned for more information.

Several parents have inquired about the process to become a volunteer for WSTA. Below you will find a link that will take you to the volunteer information on the district website. Once you complete the application, if you would like to know if you have been approved as a volunteer, send me an email and I will confirm.

Applications for the lottery for the 2025-2026 school year for WSTA will be available soon. This year, current 5th grade students are eligible to apply for WSTA for the next school year. Once the district releases the application, it will be posted on the WSTA website. The tentative deadline for the application is Friday, February 28th. Stay tuned for more information.
