A message from Mr. Rose
Celebrating the Season and Our Community
As we approach the holiday season, it’s the perfect time to reflect on what truly matters: spending quality moments with family, friends, and loved ones. The holidays present an opportunity for us all to slow down, appreciate one another, and cherish the connections that bring us together. Here in the Wilson Elementary School District, we recognize that our community’s strength stems from these very bonds. We hope that your holidays are filled with warmth, laughter, and the comfort of loved ones close by.
This season, we also want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Wilson community for its unwavering support of our Bond and Overrides. Your trust and commitment ensure that our students receive the resources, facilities, and educational programs they deserve. Your support reflects a shared belief in the power of education and the importance of investing in our future leaders. Because of you, we continue to move forward in our mission to provide an outstanding learning environment for every Wildcat.
We’ve had an amazing fall semester filled with growth, learning, and collaboration. We are so proud of our students, staff, and families who have worked tirelessly to make this time a success. As we take a well-deserved break and recharge, we eagerly look forward to returning in the spring, ready to finish the year strong. Together, we will continue striving for excellence in all that we do.
We would also like to take this moment to celebrate our very own Governing Board President, Anna Martinez. Mrs. Martinez has recently been honored by the Arizona Association of Latino Administrators and Superintendents (AZALAS) as “Board Member of the Year.” This distinction recognizes her dedication, leadership, and unwavering advocacy on behalf of our students. Congratulations, Mrs. Martinez! The entire Wilson community is proud to have you championing our cause.
Additionally, we want to highlight one of our exceptional educators, Mrs. Carmen Lopez, a Kindergarten teacher who has shown extraordinary commitment to our students and families. Mrs. Lopez has not missed a single day of work this school year, demonstrating her tireless dedication to our youngest learners. Over her six years as a part of the Wildcat community, Mrs. Lopez has been a guiding light for countless children, helping them grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Our students are truly fortunate to have such a dedicated educator, and we extend our deepest appreciation for all she does.
As we close out this calendar year, we want to thank you again for being a part of the Wilson Elementary School District family. Together, we have made significant strides, and we look forward to continuing that momentum in the months and years to come.
Happy holidays, and here’s to a joyful and restful break! We can’t wait to see everyone back in the new year, ready to continue our journey toward excellence.
