Dear Sunnyvale Elementary Families:

We have had a wonderful start to the 2024-2025 school year! I am excited for the opportunity to serve as the Assistant Principal at Sunnyvale Elementary. I have taught first grade for ten years. I joined the Sunnyvale family last year and quickly fell in love with the community involvement and feel that SISD has. I grew up not too far from here in Mesquite. My husband and I have two little boys who keep us very busy. Cruz and Jett are both 2 years old and they have a very special story and bond! We are blessed with two very special little boys!

We have wonderful educators at SES and I am excited to see them continue to do amazing things with our students everyday. I have a passion for our primary students and I love seeing how much they grow socially, emotionally, and academically in just a few short years.

I am looking forward to getting to see our little Raiders smiling faces everyday! Don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything! We are looking forward to a great year at Sunnyvale Elementary!

SISD has partnered with School Cafe for cafeteria payments!

With School Cafe, you can apply for free and reduced meal plans, manage your Raider's lunch balance and check out nutrition information. It's easy!

The School Cafe app will be available in the Sunnyvale ISD App!

Click on the School Cafe Set Up Quick Card to set up your Raider's new lunch account! All students who wish to pay for lunch using their student account number must register with School Cafe.

I’m Caitlin Quigley the new PTA President for the 2024/25 school year and I am reaching out to personally invite you to become a member of our PTA, and I want to express just how important and impactful your involvement can be. Whether you’ve been part of the PTA in the past or are considering joining for the first time, now is the perfect time to step in and make a difference!

Your membership doesn’t mean you have to attend every meeting—though we’d love to have your voice in the room! What truly matters is that your membership dues directly support our students. Through your generosity, we can provide essential classroom supplies, classroom manipulatives, host community events, and fund larger projects like new choir risers and printers. Every dollar we raise helps create a richer learning environment for our children.

But it’s not just about money—it’s about heart. It’s about coming together as a community to ensure our kids have the best possible opportunities to learn and grow. Your time and energy are just as valuable as any donation, and while we understand that not everyone can volunteer, we welcome your involvement in any way that works for you.
