Jordan operates on the "Regular Bell Schedule" the Week of September 8th.

• Students are allowed to bring their own laptop for use at school under the Durham Public Schools "Bring Your Own Technology Initiative" Board Policy.

Families are invited to meet their child's teachers on Thursday, September 12, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for our Floating Meet the Teacher Night. Families can drop in during the 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. window. Families are free to briefly visit classes at your convenience. Please bring a copy of your child’s schedule to assist with locating their classes.

• Meet the Teacher Night is September 12th, and it’s sure to be a bustling evening! Show your support for Jordan High School by letting the Jordan High School PTSA and Moe’s handle dinner.
• Simply preorder using this link: https://form.jotform.com/242403730834148 and your meal will be ready for pickup at Jordan that evening. Plus, 20% of all orders will go directly to support the PTSA and our school. Enjoy a delicious dinner at home after the event while supporting a great cause. Thank you for your support!

Please join us for Falcon Fest, presented by Jersey Mikes, on Friday, October 4, immediately following school until kickoff of the Homecoming football game. Jordan Athletic Booster Club is hosting a carnival style school-wide event with food, face painting, music, lots of games and PRIZES for students, families and staff. Entry to the event and games are free. Please bring cash/credit card for food trucks. If you are coming to campus to attend the event, please arrive after 4:45 p.m. to avoid end of school traffic.

Jordan High Seniors have the opportunity to attend a college fair on October 1st, at the Durham Marriott City Center from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. There will be over 100 colleges represented. The first 230 seniors to sign up and fill out all their forms will be able to attend this field trip.

• The School Improvement Team meets virtually from 4:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. on September 9th.
  
• Class of 2025 Senior Pictures Roadshow is September 10th, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Floating Meet the Teacher Night is September 12th, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• Register for PSAT and submit payment by 5:00 p.m. on September 15th.
• Jordan operates on the one-hour activity period bell schedule on September 18th.
• College Fair forms (seniors only) are due on or before September 24th.
