Construction Update - Summer 2024

Arcade's new administrative office is open for business

Arcade's administrative staff moved into a brand new office building this summer. The walls of this stunning space are decorated with gears, wheels and music imagery, all of which are a nod to the school's science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) model. The key features of this new office includes its bright interior, vibrant artwork and its spacious hallways and offices.

There is abundant desk space in the new administrative building. Not to mention, the unique artwork makes this space a desirable place to complete work, relax and chat with staff!

Arcade's bold multipurpose room mural is bound to encourage student pride. This mural is a nod to Arcade's new logo and branding standards, which were made official during the beginning of summer!

Plenty of room for sports and the arts

The multipurpose room hosts plenty of space for student activities, from basketball games to music performances. No matter which activities students participate in, they will undoubtedly feel proud to play and perform in a state-of-the art facility!

Bold and inspiring classroom hallways

The STEAM-related artwork is also featured in classroom buildings. The bright colors and furniture in these wings makes these spaces a desirable spot to hang out between classes.

A new place to learn

Arcade's new classrooms are fitted with Smart TVs, fresh carpets and brand-new furniture. While these spaces look great now, they will look even better once students are back on campus, ready to learn!

Plenty of light for reading

Arcade's librarian is adding the final touches to the library, as she puts books in bookshelves, and rearranges the new furniture. This space is flooded with natural light from outside, which makes it a perfectly cozy space to read and complete homework.

Inside the "pHabLAB"

The "pHabLAB" at Arcade Middle School is a new and exciting maker space where students can explore their scientific curiosities. Equipped with professional technology, students who utilize this space will be encouraged to participate in hands-on learning which promotes a deeper understanding of STEAM-related concepts.

Save the date for Arcade's ribbon-cutting ceremony!

It’s time to cut the ribbon on Arcade Middle School’s full-campus replacement project! Join the Arcade community on Thursday, Sept. 19 at 5 p.m. in Arcade’s outdoor stage area to celebrate this highly-anticipated milestone.

Arcade’s ribbon-cutting ceremony will feature student and staff speakers, a band performance and an opportunity to tour the newly modernized campus after the ceremony.
