Running Club
Our Koalas ran over 14k miles this year - that’s 560 MARATHONS!
We celebrated our top 20 runners at the awards assembly (the #11 is a Kinder ) and 62 students got medals in the classroom for running 50+ miles.
Top Runner: 222 miles (5th grader)
Our top 10 included: 4 -1st graders, 3 - 3rd graders and 2 - 4th graders.
We had 34 Koalas earn their “100 mile club” tshirt and 4 earned their “200 mile club” tshirt.
Despite all the amazing accomplishments, we’re most proud of the fact that we had 100% participation. Every Koala ran at least 1 mile this year.
Congrats to all our amazing runners - we’ve had a great year watching you hit your goals! Enjoy the summer and we’ll see you on the track in the Fall.
